Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Newcastle is seeking a Consultant Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy delivering ecology, Biodiversity Net Gain and environmental services across the UK.

You will undertake protected species surveys, complete PEAs and EcIAs, support Biodiversity Net Gain projects, and produce technical reports while liaising with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject.
• Consultancy experience with ecological surveys and assessments.
• Protected species survey experience; relevant licences advantageous.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Newcastle office.

Responsibilities
