Job summary
KM Recruitment is seeking a Construction Tutor/Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) to join our centre-based team. The role involves teaching and assessing learners working toward vocational qualifications in Construction within a classroom-based environment.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging sessions, monitor attendance and progress, embed Maths and English, and support learner progression. A Level 2 NVQ in Construction is required, with funding provided to work towards PTLLS/AET
Qualifications
- Must hold Level 2 NVQ in Construction.
- Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET teaching qualification.
- Confident and comfortable delivering training/workshops to groups of learners.
- Must hold solid occupational competency within Construction.
- Must be IT Literate.
Responsibilities
- Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications in Construction in a classroom-based environment.
- Ensure sessions are motivating and engage learners, developing skills and behaviours.
- Monitor attendance and progress through regular assessments and reviews.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners regarding progression.
- Embed Maths and English into sessions.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner needs.
