Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting on behalf of a well-established training provider to appoint a Construction Tutor / Assessor. You will train, assess and support learners toward level 2 qualifications, combining theory with practical based teaching.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in construction, A1 TAQA/TAQA equivalents, and a teaching qualification. The position includes a 4-day week, private health care, a generous pension, birthday leave and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Minimum 5 years of occupational experience within the construction sector.
• Teaching or training delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Develop, implement and evaluate training materials and promote standardisation.
• Monitor learner progress and conduct progression reviews/additional support reviews.

OVERVIEW: Construction Tutor / Assessor

Are you an experienced Tutor / Assessor looking for the next step in your career? We are Recruiting on behalf of a well-established training provider that is looking to extend their team.

You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete level 2 learner assessments. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Tutors in Construction or any trade within construction

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Construction Tutor / Assessor

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: Construction Tutor / Assessor

• A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
• Teaching qualification
• L2 qualification in Construction
• A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within the construction sector
• Excellent communication skills
