Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. represents a well-established training provider seeking a qualified Construction Tutor / Assessor to lead a group of learners, delivering both theory and practical training to achieve Level 2 qualifications.

The role requires A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.), a teaching qualification, a Level 2 Construction qualification, and at least five years of construction industry experience, along with excellent communication skills and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials; promote standardisation and use approved methods to support learners to achieve qualifications.
• Monitor learners' progression with regular reviews and additional support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials; promote standardisation and use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
• Ensure high standards of learner completions are met and monitor candidates’ progress, including progression reviews/additional support reviews.
