Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. on behalf of a well-established training provider invites applications for a Construction Tutor / Assessor.

You will tutor, assess and support learners, delivering theory and practical training to help them achieve level 2 qualifications. Required qualifications include A1 Assessor Award, a teaching qualification, L2 in Construction and 5+ years' site experience; a DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
• Teaching qualification
• L2 qualification in Construction
• A minimum 5 years' occupational experience within the construction sector
• Excellent communication skills
• This role is subject to a DBS check

Responsibilities

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

OVERVIEW: Construction Tutor / Assessor

Are you an experienced Tutor / Assessor looking for the next step in your career? We are Recruiting on behalf of a well-established training provider that is looking to extend their team.

You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete level 2 learner assessments. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Tutors in Construction or any trade within construction

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Construction Tutor / Assessor
