Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Construction Tutor/Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) for a centre-based role. You will deliver classroom-based training and assessments to learners working towards vocational qualifications in Construction.

Suitable candidates will hold a Level 3 NVQ in Construction and be willing to work towards PTLLS/AET teaching qualifications. IT literacy is essential, with a proven track record of delivering engaging training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 NVQ in Construction.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET teaching qualification.
• Confident to deliver training/workshops to groups of learners.
• Must have solid occupational competency in Construction.
• Must be IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards vocational qualifications in Construction in a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular assessments and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners regarding decision making and progression.
