Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a mainstream college based in Northamptonshire to recruit a Construction Tutor. You will teach passionate students the skills needed for a career in construction, delivering practical lessons and following the college schemes of learning.

Requirements include Level 5 in construction or related field, Level 3 assessing (CAVA), Level 3 City & Guilds, GCSE Maths and English (4+), and strong communication. FE experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 5 qualification or higher in construction, architecture, or related field.
• Level 3 assessing qualification such as CAVA.
• Level 3 City and Guilds in area of expertise.
• GCSE Maths and English level 4 and above.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of current trends in construction.
• Experience teaching in further education is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teach construction skills to passionate students in a practical learning environment.
• Deliver lessons and follow the schemes of learning to help learners achieve excellent results.
