Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Tutor/Assessor to train and assess learners toward Level 2 qualifications. You will manage a learner group, providing theory and practical support and ensuring timely progression.

The role requires A1 Assessor Award and teaching qualifications, with at least five years of Building Engineering Services or Engineering experience, plus strong communication skills. DBS checks apply, and there are development opportunities and a generous pension.

• Minimum 5 years' occupational experience within Building Engineering Services or Engineering

Responsibilities

• Train, assess, motivate and support learners on programmes towards achieving level 2 qualifications.
• Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.
• Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.

OVERVIEW: Engineering Tutor / Assessor

Are you an experienced Tutor / Assessor looking for the next step in your career? We are Recruiting on behalf of a well-established training provider that is looking to extend their team.

You will be required to provide tutoring support and complete level 2 learner assessments. You will be in charge of a group of learners, supporting each individual via theory and practical based teaching.

We are looking for qualified and experienced Tutors in Engineering or the Building Engineering Services sectors.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering Tutor / Assessor
