Job summary

proviT LTD is partnering with a specialist alternative provision in Coventry to recruit a Construction Teacher who is passionate about supporting young people facing barriers to mainstream education.

In this full-time role, you will plan and deliver differentiated Construction lessons in small groups and 1:1 settings, track progress, and collaborate with support staff to create engaging learning experiences that promote confidence and personal development.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience planning and delivering Construction lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A real ability to relate to learners & breakdown barriers.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated Construction lessons in small groups and 1:1 settings.
• Plan engaging and purposeful learning activities.
• Track learner progress and complete assessments and reporting.
• Support behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
• Build positive relationships with learners, families and external agencies.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and support teams.
• Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation.
• Maintain safeguarding and compliance standards.
