Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting experienced Construction specialists to support learners across Newport FE colleges. You may not need prior lecturing experience if you have strong industry knowledge, relevant qualifications and the ability to inspire learners.

You could be delivering a mix of theory and practical sessions, helping learners gain practical skills, industry awareness and progression into employment, apprenticeships or further study.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in Construction or a relevant trade.
• Strong industry experience within Construction.
• Up-to-date knowledge of construction practices, regulations and standards.
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge.
• Ability to demonstrate skills and engage learners.
• Experience supporting apprentices, trainees or learners is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Teaching or training qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Role

Are you an experienced Construction specialist looking to move into Further Education, or an established Construction Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?

Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Construction specialists and lecturers.

You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong industry experience, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.

You could be supporting learners across a range of construction programmes, helping them develop practical skills, technical knowledge and industry awareness.

The Role
