Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with FE providers in South Wales to recruit experienced Construction lecturers. You will deliver high-quality teaching across Construction programmes, combining practical and theory-based sessions that align with current industry standards.

You will assess learners, monitor progress, and provide feedback to help students achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study. A supportive role with emphasis on SEN/ALN needs and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in construction sector
• Current knowledge of construction practices and standards
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience supporting apprentices or learners is desirable

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Construction programmes
• Deliver practical and theory-based sessions reflecting current industry standards
• Support learners working towards vocational construction qualifications
• Assess practical and written work and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare learners for employment, apprenticeships and further study
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement
• Support learners with SEN/ALN and behavioural needs
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement
• Embed employability, English and maths skills into vocational teaching
