Aspire People are seeking experienced Multi-Trades specialists to teach in Further Education across Newport. You may be new to lecturing or an established lecturer with strong practical industry experience. Roles include delivering practical and theory sessions, assessing learners and preparing them for qualifications. September 2026 starts and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade.
• Strong practical experience across multiple construction trades.
• Current knowledge of industry standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to demonstrate practical skills and engage learners.
• Experience working with apprentices or learners is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Teaching or training experience desirable but not essential.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial.

The Role

Are you an experienced Multi-Trades specialist looking to move into Further Education, or an established Multi-Trades Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?

Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across Newport to recruit experienced Multi-Trades specialists and lecturers.

You don't necessarily need to have worked as a Lecturer previously. If you have strong practical industry experience, relevant qualifications and the ability to support and inspire learners, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Delivering practical and theory-based Multi-Trades sessions
