Job summary

SRG has partnered with a leading polymer materials manufacturer in Cheshire. This permanent, hybrid role focuses on business development across the UK and Ireland, meeting customers regularly to grow relationships with construction contractors, with an 80/20 split toward development and account growth.

You will travel across the UK and Ireland roughly one third of your time, promote polyurethane products, and build market presence in construction sectors.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in consultative and technical sales to specifiers/architects/contractors in the construction industry.
• Experience delivering technical presentations on construction products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel 1/3 of your time in the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, contacting and developing new business using a variety of methods.
• Promoting the company’s range of polyurethane products.
• Growing market presence across the UK & Ireland construction markets.
• Growing existing customer relationships to increase account spend.
• Traveling across the UK & Ireland to visit construction sites (approximately 1/3 of time).
• Generating leads to identify new potential UK industrial construction contractors.
• Keeping abreast of product development & trends in the construction industry.
