Job summary

SRG are partnering with a leading polymer material manufacturer in Cheshire to recruit a Sales Manager - Construction. The role is hybrid with 1 day a month in the Cheshire office and offers £45,000–£80,000 plus bonus, company car and benefits.

You will lead business development across the UK & Ireland, building strong relationships with construction contractors, specifiers and architects, travelling about one third of the time.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in consultative and technical sales to specifiers/architects/contractors in the construction industry.
• Experience delivering technical presentations on construction products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing, and excited, to travel 1/3 of your time in the UK & Ireland.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• A proactive approach and drive to deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Identifying, contacting and developing new business using a variety of methods.
• Promoting the company's range of innovative polyurethane products.
• Growing market presence across the UK & Ireland construction markets.
• Growing existing customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ultimately look to increase account spend.
• Travelling approximately 1/3 of your time across the UK & Ireland to visit construction sites.
• Generating leads to identify new potential UK industrial construction contractors.
• Keeping abreast of product development & trends in the construction industry.
