Job summary

KONE in the UK is seeking a Construction Manager to lead lifts modernisation and installation projects across Yorkshire or the North West. You will manage scope, schedule and budget, acting as the key interface to customers and stakeholders to drive satisfaction and profitability.

You will lead teams including subcontractors, ensure resources, plan safety and financial forecasts, and champion health and safety. A driving licence is required and lift/construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading construction or lift-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion and handover to customer and maintenance
• Responsible for successful project start-up, reviews, reporting and facilitation
• Oversee site preparations, logistics, and resource planning
• Lead installation teams including subcontractors, ensuring sufficient resourcing and motivation
• Maintain proactive customer communication and stakeholder management
• Forecast project finances, cash flow and revenue; capitalize on change orders
• Promote safety and security awareness and ensure compliance with policies
