Job summary

KONE is seeking a Construction Manager to join the Lifts Modernisation & Installation team. Role offers location flexibility across Yorkshire or the North West, based on where you are based.

You will manage scope, schedule and budget, acting as the main interface to customers and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include leading installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring sufficient resourcing, and proactive communication with customers.

Qualifications

• People management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong relationship management with customers and subcontractors.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and cost control for projects.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge applicable to construction sites.
• Valid driving licence.
• Lift industry experience is a plus, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from sales/installation hand-over to completion and handover to maintenance.
• Lead installation teams, including subcontractors, ensuring adequate resourcing and competencies.
• Maintain proactive customer communication and stakeholder management.
• Manage project financials: planning, forecasting, cash flow and revenue tracking.
• Uphold safety and security policies for all site personnel and subcontractors.
