Job summary

Tina Lacey Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Construction Learning Coach based in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The role involves delivering on-site construction training to 16–21 year olds, focusing on Foundation Apprenticeships in brick, plastering and carpentry/joinery, and supporting learners to progress to work placements.

You will manage a caseload, assess learner progress, and ensure high-quality teaching in a fast-paced training environment with a strong emphasis on health and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in construction or related trades.
• Up-to-date Health and Safety regulations in line with building industry standards.
• Previous teaching experience in multi-skills / construction.
• Willingness to work towards relevant teaching qualification.

Responsibilities

• Coach and inspire apprentices to develop the technical knowledge and skills for construction roles.
• Manage and teach a caseload of Level 2 learners on Foundation Apprenticeship programmes.
• Deliver lessons on basic Brickwork, Plastering and Carpentry and Joinery to classes of ~10 students.
• Mark assignments and apprenticeship tasks to ensure quality and progress.
• Observe practice and provide constructive feedback to drive growth.
