Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Construction Health & Safety consultant for a home-based role covering the East Midlands and surrounding areas. You will conduct inspections, advise clients and site teams, and review safety documentation while visiting client sites regularly.

You'll have a NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification, and experience across building, housebuilding or civil engineering projects. Consultancy/CDM exposure is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction Health & Safety across building, housebuilding or civil engineering projects.
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in consultancy or CDM is advantageous but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Conduct inspections and audits across construction projects.
• Provide practical advice to clients, contractors and site teams.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and construction phase plans.
• Build strong client relationships and ongoing safety improvements.
• Support CDM and Principal Designer responsibilities as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
