Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is partnering with a well-established Health & Safety consultancy to recruit a Health & Safety / CDM Advisor supporting a diverse portfolio across the North West. The role blends practical H&S consultancy with Principal Designer responsibilities under CDM 2015, across healthcare estates, housebuilding and industrial projects, with predominantly home-based work and UK travel.

Qualifications

NEBOSH General or Construction certificate (or equivalent) required.
Strong practical experience in construction, engineering or related environments.
Good understanding of CDM 2015 and related duties.

Responsibilities

Act as Health & Safety Advisor across construction and engineering projects.
Support clients with CDM 2015 duties and Principal Designer responsibilities.
Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance visits.
Provide practical H&S and CDM guidance to clients, contractors and design teams.
Review pre-construction information, RAMs and design information.
Attend design and project meetings and contribute to design risk reviews.
Build strong client relationships and manage your diary across multiple projects.
Support continuous improvement in H&S and CDM standards.
