Job summary

Pinpoint Resourcing Limited is partnering with a construction business in Slough seeking a Divisional Director to drive the commercial performance of the UK portfolio from the Slough office. You will lead tendering, pricing, risk management and cash flow, while shaping the organisation and developing key talent to meet future demand.

You will oversee project forecasts, budgets and programme performance, maintain strong cash conversion across WIP and billing, and ensure a robust sales pipeline

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Have managed a team of at least 3+ people.
• Led projects across the construction industry with tangible examples of commercial input.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial performance of the UK business and project portfolio.
• Govern the tendering and estimating process within delegated authority.
• Maintain commercial oversight of projects using forecasts, budgets and programme performance.
• Shape the organisation and workforce to support the business plan and meet demand.
• Attract, develop and retain key talent with clear succession plans.
• Drive a high-quality sales and opportunity pipeline to support growth.
• Convert growth plans into practical requirements for people, systems, investment and working capital.
• Direct the deployment of resources and capital to maximise returns while controlling costs.
