Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Consents & Liaison Officer to drive land access and consent activities for UK utilities and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with clients, landowners, farmers and contractors, arrange access to private land, serve notices and evidencing land conditions before entry.

You will work closely with project teams on site, maintain clear records, support billing, and help deliver compliant, efficient consents processes.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of agriculture and rural affairs.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage liaison activities with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers and other stakeholders.
• Arrange access to private land and serving notices.
• Obtain agreements/consents and evidencing condition of land before entry.
• Advise and agree reinstatement of land and deal with agricultural loss claims.
• Ensure proactive engagement with landowners on site and maintain professional image.
• Work with project teams, often from the project/client site.
• Keep records, provide client updates and ensure accurate billing.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Provide line management to direct reports and training.
