Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren in the UK seeks a Consents & Liaison Officer to coordinate access to private land, manage notices and obtain consents, and oversee reinstatement after entry. You will work with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers and occupiers to support project objectives while projecting a professional image of DM on site.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong knowledge of agriculture, excellent service skills and a commercial, innovative mindset.

Qualifications

• Manage liaison activities with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers, occupiers and other stakeholders in support of client objectives.
• Arrange access to private land.
• Serve notices and obtain agreements/consents, evidencing land conditions before entry.
• Advise and agree reinstatement of land and handle agricultural loss claims.
• Ensure proactive engagement with landowners and occupiers on-site while presenting a professional image of the client and DM.
• Work closely with project teams, often from the project/client site.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular client updates and billing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field liaison and access arrangements for landowners and contractors.
• Keep stakeholders updated through IT systems and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Support and provide line management to direct reports.
• Deliver cost-effective land access and project progress reporting.
