Job summary

UK Power Networks in Borehamwood seeks a Connection Coordinator to own the end-to-end customer journey for metered connections up to 69kVA. You will act as the main contact, coordinating site visits, quotations, payments and MPANs, while liaising with authorities and delivery teams.

This permanent role reports to the Team Leader in Connection Services, with a target to strengthen customer satisfaction and BMoCS performance.

Qualifications

• Good telephone skills.
• PC literacy with fast and accurate keyboard skills.
• Team working to achieve shared goals.
• Problem resolution abilities.
• Flexible attitude to work and hours.
• GCSE level or equivalent qualification, plus a C&G 2339 when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the customers' journey as sole contact throughout the end-to-end process.
• Book surveyor site visits and manage quotations for customers.
• Take payments and provide alternative payment options (eg. BACS).
• Raise MPAN numbers and manage street works permits with authorities.
• Schedule and monitor weekly programmes and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain proactive customer communication with updates and timelines.
