DESCRIPTION

We're expanding our team within Amazon Operations.

This role requires working from the office 5 days a week.

As a Configurations Specialist, you will play an integral role in Amazon Logistics, directly impacting parcel delivery speed. As part of the Central Operations Team, you will support daily planning and forecasting to assist UK Delivery Stations in serving our customers effectively.

Key job responsibilities

1. Execute network design configuration changes and coordinate with requesters.
2. Perform adherence reviews and coordinate changes with stations.
3. Conduct data reviews, audits, and update daily checklists.
4. Develop, audit, and update standard work documents.
5. Advise the UK Delivery Station network on standard operational practices.
6. Mentor new joiners.
7. Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Ensure customer-centric decision-making.
9. Meet targets and service deadlines in compliance with regulatory requirements.

A day in the life

You will proactively communicate with various departments and stakeholders, maintaining Amazon's high service standards for customers and suppliers. You will also periodically review the bigger picture and explore process improvement initiatives.

About the team

The Central Operations team aims to stay agile from the moment an order is placed online, ensuring seamless coordination behind the scenes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant experience with analytical tasks or projects involving data.
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English (C1 CEFR level).
• Experience working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Previous experience in transportation or logistics.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
