An established industry player in healthcare is seeking a dedicated Theatre Support Worker to join their dynamic team. The post holder, after the necessary training and induction, will take responsibility for the clinical and operational support and delivery of theatre services in the theatre department at Moorfields Eye South Unit at St George’s, upon training and achievement of the required competencies.
In addition, the post holder is responsible for assisting in the care of surgical patients during the peri-operative period by supporting the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining and procuring necessary stock for St. George’s and Queen Mary’s theatres.
The post holder will audit instruments, anaesthetic and surgical consumables, implants, and participate as a circulating person in the theatre team.
