Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead and maintain the CMS, ensuring traceability and governance of configurations across lifecycles. You’ll align CMS with QMS, group processes, and regulatory standards, while owning change control and CCBs to improve standardisation.

You will collaborate with windchill PLM deployment, analyse CMS performance, and drive improvements to reduce non-value-added changes and strengthen governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• CMII Level 6 certified; knowledge of configuration management.
• Experience with CATIA V5, SmarTeam, PLM systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and maintain the CMS across product, programme, and business configurations throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure CMS alignment with Group/Branch processes, QMS requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Own and optimise the engineering change control process and Change Control Boards (CCBs).
• Produce and maintain configuration management data and reports for programme lifecycle requirements.
• Support Windchill PLM deployment and optimisation; ensure robust configuration governance.
• Analyse CMS performance and drive improvements to increase efficiency.
