Job summary

Safran Seats is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead the CMS, ensuring traceability and governance of product configurations across lifecycle. You will align CMS with group processes, QMS, and regulatory standards while driving continuous improvement and standardisation of change practices.

Responsibilities include managing Change Control Boards, reporting on CMS performance, and collaborating with Windchill PLM deployment to strengthen configuration governance in a global aerospace

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering, or HNC/HND (or equivalent).
• CMII Level 6 certification.
• Experience with PLM systems such as CATIA V5/SmarTeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the CMS for configuration management across lifecycle.
• Ensure CMS compliance with group, OEM and regulatory standards.
• Own engineering change control and enable efficient Change Control Boards.
• Improve configuration processes and governance with KPI reporting.
