Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Conference and Events team across a fast-paced hotel and venue environment in Birmingham. You will own day-to-day delivery, drive standards and coach department heads to build capability while aligning guest experience with commercial performance.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will shape the culture, drive engagement and deliver measurable improvements in service, efficiency and revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience operating at Head of Department level or above within a large hotel and venue.
• Proven track record of improving performance and leading teams effectively.
• Strong commercial mindset; understands how operational decisions influence financial performance.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across departments; develop others.
• Hands-on, resilient leader comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to shape culture and drive guest experience and revenue.

Responsabilités

• Own day-to-day operational delivery across the venue, aligning standards, processes and team performance with business expectations.
• Drive performance with department heads, support recruitment and onboarding, and coach leaders to build capability.
• Use guest feedback, data and commercial insight to identify opportunities and implement changes.
• Shape the venue culture, set clear expectations and drive engagement.
• Ensure guest experience and commercial performance improve.
