A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MEETINGS, EVENTS & RESERVATIONS COORDINATOR AT THE IMPERIAL HOTEL BLACKPOOL

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, your day will include:

  • Communicating with guests via telephone and email
  • Organising and maintaining client details related to hotel events
  • Diary planning
  • Updating the hotel operational team on final event details
  • Creating and printing event menus, table plans, and signage
  • Demonstrating knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing, and policies
  • Collating data on hotel events, including forecasted revenue and reports
  • Managing hotel reservations before guest check-in, ensuring accuracy
  • Conducting future reservation checks (7-day, 3-day, 1-day)

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We value personality and potential, but the following qualities and skills are important:

  • A proactive approach to guest interaction and service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Event Temple is a plus
