Job summary

Based at Cross Hands Concrete Plant, Heidelberg Materials UK oversees daily site operations to ensure safe production and timely delivery of high-quality concrete. You will work with the District Operations Manager, drivers, customers and contractors to maintain safety, efficiency and adherence to company procedures.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong health and safety awareness, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent

Qualifications

• This role requires proven supervisory experience in a production or construction materials environment.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards is essential.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Leading the safe and efficient operation of the concrete plant
• Producing high-quality concrete that meets customer specifications
• Coordinating daily production schedules and customer orders
• Maintaining housekeeping standards across the site
• Monitoring stock levels and materials for production
• Carrying out routine inspections and reporting defects
• Operating batching plant and loading equipment as required
• Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental and quality standards
• Supporting improvements to maximise plant performance
• Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service
