Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a motivated General Operative for our concrete block plant in Barton. You will operate manufacturing equipment, inspect routines, and maintain cleanliness as part of a multi-skilled team producing concrete products.

The role involves a 24/5 rotating shift pattern (06:00-14:15, 14:00-22:15, 22:00-06:15) with possible overtime and will provide full training for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and capable of manual labour, including lifting and carrying 20kg for short distances.
• Willingness to work a 24/5 rotating three shift pattern (06:00-14:15, 14:00-22:15 and 22:00-06:15).
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to maximise production.
• Inspect, carry out and ensure plant routines are adhered to and that cleanliness of equipment, production area and storage areas is maintained.
• Work as part of a multi-skilled production team producing concrete products.
• Adhere to site instructions and maintain high health and safety standards.
