Job summary

Holcim UK is seeking a reliable Terminal Operator to join our two-site operations. You will operate mobile plant and machinery, assist with dispatch, and perform basic checks and maintenance as required.

The role suits someone with general plant experience, able to work safely on site, and willing to learn across areas of the operation. We offer a competitive salary, benefits, and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Operating mobile plant and machinery safely and efficiently, including loading shovels and forklifts.
• Moving pallets, bulk bags and other materials around the site.
• Carrying out daily machine and plant checks and reporting issues.
• Undertaking basic maintenance and housekeeping duties within your level of training and authorisation.
• Supporting loading, unloading and general site operations.
• Assisting with dispatch activities, including preparing and issuing dispatch information.
• Carrying out basic computer and system-based tasks, including E1 system work and Excel.
• Supporting the wider team and moving between different operational areas as required.
• Following all health, safety, quality and environmental procedures at all times.
