Job description

Farnborough Airport Limited is looking to recruit a Concierge team member who will report into the Customer Service Manager.

Within this role, you will work as part of a team to:

  1. Ensure all visitors, including passengers, crews, and tenants/employees, always receive first-class hospitality.
  2. Greet passengers and crew at the door, identify their flights, accompany them to the lounge as required, and handle their luggage appropriately.
  3. Keep passengers waiting in the terminal informed about their flight status and guide them to the company vehicle when ready to board, ensuring their luggage is looked after.
  4. Offer Concierge services to passengers and crews, meeting their requirements or finding alternatives.
  5. Facilitate arrival and departure processes involving government agencies (Immigration, Customs, etc.).
  6. Perform administrative duties as required and assist the Operations/Reception team when needed.
  7. Demonstrate and promote the company values of Proud, Passionate, Ambition, and Together in daily activities.
  8. Participate in volunteering opportunities to support the company's goal of being an Employer of Choice and Responsibility.
  9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards, including compliance with legislation and risk management.
  10. Support the team with ad hoc activities and tasks as reasonably requested.

About you

  1. Proof of right to work in the UK.
  2. Experience in a customer-facing role.
  3. Full 5-year employment/education history with no significant gaps.
  4. Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) for security clearance.
  5. Ability to obtain and maintain a Farnborough Airport Driving Permit.
  6. Valid UK driving license or equivalent.
  7. Experience in delivering first-class customer service.
  8. Flexibility to work various shift patterns.
  9. Airside driving experience.
  10. Customer-facing/Concierge experience.
