Job summary

Lift Greenwood invites you to train as a Computing teacher through a school-based ITT apprenticeship. Earn while you learn, gaining hands-on classroom practice and mentoring from experienced teachers, while working toward a PGCE and QTS.

The programme runs for 1 year full-time, with Summer School dates in August 2027 and ongoing in-school support to help you progressively take on more responsibility in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2:2 classification or above (Computing preferred).
• GCSE English & Mathematics at grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Right to live and work in the UK for training year.
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as an apprentice Computing teacher.
• Receive 1-on-1 mentoring and weekly feedback from tutors and in-school coaches.
• Engage in weekly training modules to build teaching skills.
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS upon successful completion.
