Lift Schools in the UK invites you to join its Computing Teacher Training Apprenticeship, where you learn in the classroom while you earn. You’ll work with experienced teachers and mentors toward PGCE and QTS.

The programme includes a two-week Summer School (August 2027), personalised mentoring, weekly training modules, and a nationwide network of trainees across Lift Schools. You’ll graduate with PGCE and QTS and begin a rewarding teaching career.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 or above by the start of the programme; Computing-related degree preferred
• GCSE English & Mathematics at grade 4/C or above
• Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year
• Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Responsibilities

• Participate in two-week Summer School, August 2027
• Receive ongoing mentoring from a subject tutor and in-school coach
• Engage in targeted weekly training to develop practical teaching skills
• Join a nationwide network of trainees across Lift Schools
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS and begin your teaching career
