Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Computing Teacher for a mixed secondary school in Middlesbrough to cover a long-term absence from 2nd November 2026 to 18th December 2026. The role involves teaching KS3/KS4 Computing, delivering well-structured lessons and supporting students to reach their potential.

The successful candidate may hold QTS or be an unqualified teacher/cover staff with a strong Computing/ICT background, and an Enhanced DBS on updates or willingness to obtain one.

£145 - £235 per day (PAYE)

Full-Time | 5 Days per Week

Veritas Education is recruiting a Computing Teacher for a mixed secondary school in Middlesbrough to cover a long-term staff absence from 2nd November until 18th December 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Computing lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop their knowledge of Computer Science, programming, digital literacy and ICT.

The school is seeking a Computing specialist with QTS, although applications are also welcome from unqualified teachers or experienced cover staff with a strong background teaching or delivering Computer Science and/or ICT.

The Role:

• Full-time position (5 days per week)
• Teach Computing across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
• Support students to achieve their full potential
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
