Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Computing Teacher for a mixed secondary school in Middlesbrough to cover a long-term absence from 2nd November to 18th December 2026. The role is full-time, five days per week, with daily pay between 145 and 235 PAYE.

The successful candidate will deliver Computing across KS3 and KS4 and help students develop CS, programming, digital literacy and ICT. The school welcomes QTS holders, but unqualified teachers or experienced cover staff with strong

Qualifications

• QTS desirable but not essential.
• Experience teaching Computer Science and/or ICT.
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom presence.
• Willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS through Update Service if not already held.
