Base pay range

Salary: Up to £35,000 + monthly bonus

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client, one of the UK’s longest steel stockholders and processors, is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and convert 2D and 3D customer drawings into detailed CAD designs.
• Utilize Solidworks, Signa, and Artube for creating precise designs.
• Program tube and flat bed lasers for production.
• Manage and prioritize orders based on complexity and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate and timely completion of orders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the metals/steel industry is desirable.
• Must have experience using Solidworks, AutoCAD, or Artube.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
