As the business grows from strength to strength, we are now looking to strengthen our engineering function by recruiting on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) an experienced CAD Technician, to be based in our Stockport office.

We are seeking the following:

We are looking to recruit a CAD technician to strengthen support to our renewable energy department. Ideally, your industry experience will have been gained working in a consultancy or renewable energy sector business.

• Educated to a minimum of HND level in a suitable subject matter.
• Prior use of AutoCAD for production of 2D drawings.
• Experience using PV Case for solar projects would be an advantage.
• Prior experience of working in a professional office environment e.g. consultancy, professional services, or similar office environment.
• Experienced in producing engineering drawings to include general arrangements, site layout and detail drawings.
• Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with good business acumen.
• Able to build and maintain work relationships across all levels of seniority within the business.
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel.
• Able and willing to travel for very occasional site meetings in the UK or Ireland.
• Must be able to live and work in the UK without any visa restrictions.
