Job summary

Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking a Composite Trim and Assembly Technician to finish and prepare components for assembly at our Silverstone site. You will trim, sand and inspect components, ensuring precision and adherence to QA standards in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

You will read engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, and work closely with the assembly team. A methodical approach, strong attention to detail and safety focus are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in composite trimming/fitting, preferably within F1/motorsport or aerospace sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Proactive and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to safety and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Trim and finish composite components according to specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely during trimming.
• Inspect finished components for defects and ensure QA compliance.
• Collaborate with assembly and production teams to maintain workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Identify areas for improvement in the trimming process.
• Participate in training to enhance trimming and assembly skills.
