Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED is offering a 1-year student placement in Enstone within the Composites Design group. You’ll assist the design and development of composite components from concept through to manufacturing release, working closely with design engineers to ensure performance and compliance with F1 regulations.

The role focuses on CAD modelling, laminate schedules, tooling design, and documentation, with opportunities to contribute to design reviews at Alpine’s Enstone facility.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or Motorsport Engineering.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Familiarity with composite manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
• Be available to onsite assessment centre in September.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of composite components using CAD software.
• Support the creation of laminate schedules and ply definitions.
• Help prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing and tooling.
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, structural analysis, and vehicle integration teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
