Rolls-Royce Derby is seeking a Senior Component Repair Lead / Compliance Verification Engineer in Repair Design to provide technical leadership in developing and approving repair solutions for service-run components within the Civil Aerospace engine portfolio.

You will assess damage, define repair limits and guide cross-functional teams across the global MRO network, with an emphasis on compliance verification and airworthiness requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive aero-engine Repair Design experience is beneficial.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine components, materials, manufacturing and repair processes.
• Experience with airworthiness, certification, regulatory requirements.
• CV E accreditation progression or experience would be advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead engineering solutions and communicate complex technical concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and substantiate repair definitions for service-run components and determine repair limits.
• Provide technical leadership for repair design, ensuring compliance with engineering and airworthiness requirements.
• Define validation and verification requirements and demonstrate technical equivalence where processes change.
• Review and approve technical documentation, including Variances and repair definitions as a CVE.
• Collaborate across the Civil Aerospace and global MRO network to identify repair opportunities and drive timely revisions.
