Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a Compliance Officer at its Keele head office to guide candidates through pre-employment checks, DBS, right to work and referencing, while upholding GDPR and compliance standards.

Reporting to the Head of Quality & Compliance, you will manage a high volume of candidate files, maintain an accurate CRM, and support internal audits to improve the candidate journey and KPI delivery across England and Wales.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience in a compliance role.
• Ability to work independently and manage strict timeframes.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide all candidates through pre-employment checks (DBS, references, right to work).
• Collaborate with resourcing team to ensure an excellent candidate journey.
• Manage a high volume of candidate files with strict deadlines.
• Identify compliance gaps and support corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with legislation such as KCSiE and APSCo.
• Escalate compliance concerns to the Head of Quality & Compliance.
• Prepare for external audits with the wider team.
• Update CRM with compliance information accurately.
• Refine candidate journey and make recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with regional team to clear files efficiently.
• Meet/exceed KPIs to support team success.
