Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd. is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the team in Leicester/Nottingham. You will guide candidates through pre-employment checks, manage onboarding compliance, and uphold regulatory standards under the Regional Compliance Manager.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in education compliance, strong organisation, and excellent communication. The role offers a supportive team and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience working in a compliance role in education.
• The confidence and motivation to work independently.
• The ability to work to operate with strict timeframes.
• Excellent organisation skills to manage a high volume of candidate files.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Guide all candidates through pre-employment checks (DBS, references, right to work).
• Collaborate with resourcing and partnership teams to ensure a smooth candidate journey.
• Manage a high volume of candidate files with tight deadlines.
• Identify compliance gaps and support corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with legislation changes (KCSiE, APSCo).
• Escalate compliance concerns and/or breaches to Head of Quality & Compliance.
• Assist in preparing for external audits with the team.
• Update internal CRM with compliance information.
• Suggest improvements to the candidate journey to management.
• Coordinate with regional team to clear files efficiently.
• Meet/exceed KPIs to contribute to team success.
• Ensure documentation is stored securely per GDPR.
