Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our Hard FM team in Plymouth. The role focuses on statutory compliance, PPM scheduling and maintaining service certificates.

You will identify remedial works, monitor contractor performance and support contract financial administration. The successful candidate will have a technical trade qualification or strong knowledge of compliance, and excellent IT skills with CAFM experience.

Qualifications

• Technical trade qualification and/or strong knowledge of statutory compliance and PPM within commercial properties.
• Excellent IT skills and confidence working with maintenance management systems.
• Commercially and contractually aware, with an understanding of costs and performance penalties.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Experience with Concerto CAFM would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to ensure statutory compliance.
• Review and manage PPM service sheets, certificates and remedial works documentation.
• Identify, prioritise and coordinate remedial works based on risk and urgency.
• Manage maintenance records and update the Concerto CAFM system.
• Obtain remedial works quotations and manage client approvals.
• Monitor engineer and subcontractor performance.
• Support contract financial administration, including costs, WIP and monthly applications.
• Produce management information and support client performance review meetings.
• Identify operational risks and elevate issues to the Hard FM Contract Manager.

Compliance Officer – Hard FM

Location: Plymouth

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Officer to join a Hard FM team in Plymouth. This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical or electrical background who has strong knowledge of statutory compliance, PPM and commercial building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
