Job summary

Apex Recruitment Services is seeking a Compliance Engineer to drive quality, safety and environmental standards across the business. You will own and develop management systems, lead audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement.

Travel to other sites for audits and collaboration with internal teams, suppliers and stakeholders will be part of the role as you promote a culture of compliance and high standards across the

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and improving quality, environmental and health & safety management systems.
• Auditing against ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001 and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Ability to identify non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support internal and external audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Maintain, develop and continually improve management systems and compliance processes.
• Monitor relevant legislation, regulations and industry requirements.
• Provide guidance across the business on legislative and regulatory compliance matters.
• Maintain compliance records, procedures, documentation and supporting evidence.
• Identify non-compliance and work collaboratively with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Support environmental, health & safety, quality and wider legislative compliance requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable packaging regulations, the WEEE Directive and Batteries Regulations.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on the organisation.
• Support compliance assessments, audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel to other sites as required to undertake audits and support consistent compliance standards.
• Work with internal teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are understood and effectively managed.
• Promote a positive culture of compliance, continuous improvement and high standards.
