Job summary

St Mungo's in Bristol is seeking a Complex Caseworker to support people facing significant barriers to accessing accommodation. You will manage a caseload, provide intensive, relationship-based support, and work with partners to secure sustainable housing outcomes.

The role focuses on person-centered support, improving life skills, and building recovery networks addressing health, mental health, and substance use.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people.
• Experience managing a caseload and delivering support services within homelessness, housing, or similar settings.
• A good understanding of the complex issues faced by people experiencing homelessness and the barriers they face in accessing services.
• A full UK driving licence (or equivalent) is desirable, or the ability to travel across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and provide person-centred support, specialist interventions, and multi-disciplinary approaches to secure sustainable outcomes.
• Manage a caseload of clients and deliver intensive, relationship-based support.
• Support clients to improve life skills and recovery networks addressing health, mental health, or substance use needs.
• Work with organisations, peers, and communities to help clients sustain accommodation and access employment.
