Job summary

Total Community Care Limited is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury at home, in local facilities and at specialist centres in the South West. You will help with therapies, appointments and daily activities, under clinical supervision.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; the role offers supportive, person-centred care and clear progression into leadership paths.

Qualifications

• You’ll need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener.
• No experience is required and that full training will be provided.
• For longer shifts, candidates over the age of 25 may be required to drive the service user’s car due to insurance policy.

Responsibilities

• Support a client with a spinal cord injury at home and in local facilities.
• Assist with a range of therapies and attend medical and personal appointments.
• Encourage outdoor activities and work closely with the client’s family.

£15 per hour

Double Up Shifts

Weekdays - 7pm - 10pm / Weekends - 8am - 12pm

Job Description

What you’ll do

We are looking for a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury, living in his own home. The role involves assisting with a range of therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres in the South West. You will also support the client in attending medical and personal appointments, encourage outdoor activities, and work closely with the client’s locally based family. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with full training and clinical support in a supportive, person-centred environment.

For the longer shifts, the successful candidate will be required to use the service user’s car, for this purpose only candidates over the age of 25 will be permitted to drive due to the insurance policy.
