Job summary

CCH Group in Bugle, St Austell, is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to support a client with a spinal cord injury living in his own home. You’ll assist with therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres across the South West.

No prior experience is required as full training and clinical support are provided. For longer shifts, the service user’s car may be used; driving may be required under the insurer’s policy.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a compassionateComplex Care Assistantto support a client with a spinal cord injury, living in his own home.

The role involves assisting with a range of therapies at home, in local facilities, and at specialist centres in the South West.

You will also support the client in attending medical and personal appointments, encourage outdoor activities, and work closely with the client’s locally based family. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills with full training and clinical support in a supportive, person-centred environment.

You’ll need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener.

No experience is required and that full training will be provided.

For the longer shifts, the successful candidate will be required to use the service user’s car, for this purpose only candidates over the age of 25 will be permitted to drive due to the insurance policy.
