Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen is seeking a compassionate carer to support a gentleman with quadriplegia, autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea. Full training and paid induction are provided, with clear progression.

You will perform clinical tasks including ventilation support, catheter care, bowel management, medication administration, and safe handling of equipment, while providing personal care with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

• Experience with ventilation support and catheter care.
• Experience with bowel management and medication administration.
• Experience with manual handling equipment.

What you'll do

Our client is a gentleman who has quadriplegia due to a spinal injury and they are also to susceptible to episodes of autonomic dysreflexia and sleep apnoea.

We are looking for someone to be apart of a brand new team, who shows compassion, dedication and reliability into helping towards transform the client's life to the best way possible.

You will be involved in a multitude of clinical interventions where full training will be given and this can include:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care
• Bowel Management
• Medication Administration
• Using Manual Handling Equipment
• Providing Personal Care.

What you'll need

Experience required in the following clinical tasks would make your application extremely advantageous prior to an interview commencing:

• Ventilation Support
• Catheter Care (Suprapubic)
• Bowel Management (Inclusive of Manual Evac.)
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment
